ClarityClarity by Kim Harrington

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received Clarity from Amazon Vine for review. I'll admit, I was a tad leery, but was immediately sucked into the life of Clarity Fern with the first paragraph.

Clarity is a psychic, her mother a telepath, and her brother a medium. They run a family business out of their home entertaining tourists with their unique abilities, and the town will never let them live it down.

The town of Eastport is instantly turned on its head with the murder of a young woman at a local hotel. The first in years.

The mayor (who believes in the Fern's abilities) brings Clarity, unofficially, on the case. But with a new detective and his son who firmly do not believe, the mayor elections around the corner, her brother placed with the victim, and a new fortune teller in town to compete with the Ferns, Clarity is taking on more than she realizes.

This novel was a fast-paced, page-turner filled with murder, mystery, intrigue, and a little romance to boot.
