The Convenient Groom (Nantucket, #2)The Convenient Groom by Denise Hunter

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received The Convenient Groom from Booksneeze, and was very pleased. The Convenient Groom immediately draws the reader into the breathtaking wedding plans of 'Dr. Kate'.

Dr. Kate has had her life planned out just the way she want it. A child of divorce, she has counseled distressed couples as well as written a book on how to find Mr. Right. The release of her new book corresponds with her own publicized wedding, paid for by the publisher. Everything is perfect until her Mr. Right abandons her five hours before the wedding.

Heartbroken, Kate faces the possibility of a dive in her career to be jilted at her own wedding. How will others take her counsel when she couldn’t find her own Mr. Right? The groom’s identity has been kept secret as a publicity stunt, and an unexpected friend, Lucas, steps in and suggests he be the stand in groom. (He has his own agenda)

Thus begins the romantic and exciting journey of The Convenient Groom. When things don’t go as she has planned, Dr. Kate is forced to face her own troubled past in hopes of a better future. You can’t help but root for Dr. Kate on her journey to find her real Mr. Right.

It was nice to read a clean, but thoroughly enjoyable romance.
