Day 4

The home stretch!  Needless to say, everyone is excited to get going the morning of Day 4.  The scenery is beautiful, and everyone is anxious to see where we'll be living.  Thankfully this day is fabulously uneventful.  No emergency potty breaks, no throw-up, and all that asphalt and concrete is catching up to everyone.

Now, I have to say, I have been to a lot of states throughout this country, but Pennsylvania has to be one of the most beautiful areas of this country (Virginia is right up there too).  Gorgeous!  As we were driving through Pennsylvania I told the kids, "See, I told you Pennsylvania was much better to look at!"

H answered with, "Um, Mom? It's just trees."

Hmmm, so the kids didn't quite appreciate nature's beauty. Finally we reach Virginia!

We make one more potty stop about forty-five minutes from our destination which makes everyone in a bit of a rush to get on the road.  Four year old A is in the bathroom and I tell her to hurry because Grandma is waiting.  She responds with a perfunctory, "She can hold it."

Oh I love that little girl....

It is probably a bit anti-climactic, but we finally arrive! And with daylight to spare for the kids to explore the back yard. As we are settled in now I have to say...We might not ever leave. :)
