Razo is a member of Bayerns Own, sent with an ambassador to their enemy’s territory on a peace-keeping mission. But with a band of radicals crying for war and a conspiracy to blame Bayern for unexplained deaths, Razo feels success is impossible. Shannon Hale again delivers a beautifully written adventure keeping the reader engaged to the very end.
