My New Toy!

First I'd like to say, I have the most amazing husband EVER! Okay, now that we have that out of the way I wanted to share about my new toy he got me for my birthday.  I've been drooling over the net books (mini-laptops) for about six months now.  As some of you know I've been writing on my archaic laptop that will periodically fling its nasty blue screen at me full of errors, which causes me to have to reboot, (which takes about 15 min.), all the while hoping I remembered to save the last few lines onto the thumb drive in case Dustin has to completely clean out the computer again to make it work. (What 'cleaning' out the computer means I have no idea, I am beyond technologically challenged. I just know I could lose some of my work). So, after admitting defeat to the good ol' budget demon, I submitted myself to the mercy of my dilapidated Dell.  Then my birthday rolls around and I open my present (which he gave me early because he couldn't stand it) And like a baby I cry. Yup, I'll admit it. I cried.  Now, not only can I write more because I don't have to take a snack break while the computer decided if it wants to save like I asked it to; but I can take it anywhere with me as well!  As some of you know I frequent the Dr.'s office periodically and in desperation I can be found scribbling thoughts on the backs of receipts or trying to type it into my phone.  But no more! I carry it with me in my purse so if I have an unexpectedly long wait, wallah!  I have my book at my finger tips.  As you can tell, I'm absolutely thrilled! My Mother in-law tells me I'm spoiled, but it's her fault for raising such a great guy to be my husband! (which I am very grateful for!)
