Independence Day

I apologize for not writing this last week, but I was given the opportunity to do piece work (attatching cord stoppers to drawsring bags then tying a knot) for some extra money, and as much as I am looking forward to being paid to write, I am not at the moment so I took this opportunity fully!  So now one week, 5 hrs of Pride and Prejudice, and about 8 episodes of Mythbusters, and 4500 bags later, I am now catching up on writing (and housework ugh!)  Anyway, I came across  something which I just had to share!  As you know, this week is the 4th of July, and sadly I don't think many of our nation's children are being taught the importance of this day and why we celebrate it.  To many it's just a day of cool fireworks, so please! Let's teach our children this year the great importance of this day!  Also, I was at Seagull Book in American Fork the other day and found and exciting and affordable deal!  They have a hardcover childrens book Titled; Cornerstones of Freedom: The Story of the Constitution, by Marilyn Prolman  for only 99cents!  What an awesome opportunity to teach our children about the Constitution and for only 99cents! Like I said it is also a hardcover book so it will hold up well with your kids. I was so excited I picked one up for me and my sister in-law.  Also, I have a giveway in the works for the near future, so keep your eyes posted for it, and Happy 4th of July!

  1. Sad no post last week, but honestly we all understand the ridiculous things that we all are willing to do for a little extra cash. Thankfully it often involves mindless hours of TV and SIMPLE piecework :o)
